Safety
The London Bikeathon is a fun day out, however as the event takes place on the roads of the capital with normal Sunday morning traffic, cyclist safety is of the highest importance for the wellbeing of all entrants.

Every year we have the support of
St John Ambulance to ensure
all our participants receive the best
support and treatment if needed.
"The St John Ambulance have provided the first aid cover for the London Bikeathon for many years. We will be at all the start/finish points as well as the refreshment stations to take care of any first aid requirements you may have"
"Over the years we have treated a number of minor injuries and ailments. Our advice is to prepare for the ride, if its a hot sunny day make sure you apply and re-apply plenty of sun cream and whatever the weather, make sure you are dressed appropriately." - Clive James, St John Ambulance official.
